Ideas for the Nursery

It's time to throw down some ideas for the office transition plan.  There are many things that need to be accomplished to make this a success and namely it's organization.

To do list:
  1. Remove books from bookshelf - donate to library
  2. File important paperwork properly, only saving a years worth of bills. (is this really necessary, with everyone online anyway?!)
  3. Design the closet...major feat in itself.
  4. CLOSET DOORS!
  5. Blinds and Curtains
  6. Glider
  7. Crib
  8. Changing Table
  9. Small area rug
  10. Paint
    1. Room - Celedon
    2. Tree Mural - see ideas
I LOVE THIS ONE!!!!

We have a few areas to accomplish to make our home a comfortable place to live full of our style.
  1. Fix sewer line
  2. Nursery
  3. Guest/Baby Bath
  4. Master Bedroom/Master Bath
  5. Kitchen
  6. Basement
  7. Landscaping our sloped and shaded yard
Our major priority currently needs to be our sewer line, unfortunatly on Dec 23, 2009, Sean went to the basement to turn over some laundry.  When he went into the laudry room he noticed "water" everywhere.  Five hundred dollars later it turns out we need to replace our sewer line coming from the house to the main line in the street.  UCK! A seventy five dollar video then confirmed that our gorgeous thirty foot maple tree that shades our house perfectly has attacked our plumbing and therefore needs to be replaced.

The arborist told us it couldn't be saved and would cost twenty two hundred dollars to tear down, grind the stump and remove the debris.  This poor tree was planted by the orginial homeowner 30 years ago and is the first thing we loved when we drove up to the house.

How can I get rid of it while keeping the environment in mind?  Research...

After getting smart about Tree Care I've got a guy coming to the house on Friday to see how they can tear down the old tree, remove the stump and hopefully tell me what to replace it with.

Reduce, Reuse and Renovate

Today begins a new day of figuring out how are we going to renovate our tiny townhouse before the birth of our baby in September. YIKES! Sounds too fast? Well, we just might have to adjust the timeframe to see fit because right now, I can't even stay awake long enough to fold my clothes and put them away.

I'm going to use this blog as an idea board, inspiration page and somewhere to keep my rantings when I can't believe what I'm about to do.
